Spare Parts for Electrolux Gas Hob

A vital part from my Electrolux gas hob has mysteriously disappeared!

 

Of course, no-one in the household knows anything about this - what a surprise!

 

Anyway, the question is this:  where can I obtain spare parts fro this hob, type EGG7438CK?  Nothing has come out of doing a web search - complete hobs are available but no mention of spares.  Is there anywhere in the Pattaya  area (preferably) that might stock Electrolux gas spares?  Otherwise, does anyone know of a mail-order company that deals in this stuff?  I've looked on the Lazada site but they don't seem to carry anything for this model of hob.

 

Any info gratefully received.

It's part of a burner assembly - circular cap that fits over the central jet (there are four other jets).  The piezo ignition system on that burner won't work without it and the flame would probably be like a blow torch if it did ignite, so pretty dangerous.

 

I've found similar caps on the Electrolux UK site but none that will fit my model.  As you will be aware, a lot of these products are region-specific, which is why I was hoping that there would be an Electrolux service centre somewhere close by.

 

I'll certainly take a look in Amorn anyway - lots of stuff in there, even though they do seem more keen on selling non-technical things these days.  The place is a shadow of its former self!

Assuming the cap on the other burner is the same take it with you, you may find one that will fit.

 

Also, if you have one of the mom-n-pop hardware stores nearby that would be worth a look, I never cease to be amazed at what can be found in the back "Aladdin's cave".

Yes, we have three burners - two are identical and the lost part is from one of those.

 

Mom & Pop shops seem to be becoming a bit or a rarity now - all taken over by 7-11 and Family Mart!  I'll have a walk around but not much left up my way.  I'm sure that somewhere in Bangkok would have what I need but trying to find it without some hard information is not really a viable option.

I bought mine quite a bit like that at Home Pro in Rayong.  They have in Pattaya too.  That's where I'd start looking.

Just an update to the Electrolux gas hob problem.

 

No joy getting the part in Pattaya at all.   Ended up ordering it from Electrolux in Bangkok - not in stock and it took a while for them to get it.  It was then sent to their service dept. in Pattaya and I picked it up today.

 

Initially, I never managed to locate the service dept. in Pattaya - supposed to be in Potisan Soi 6 but it isn't, although maybe it was at one time.  The shop - very small - is actually on Soi Potisan itself, about opposite Soi 6.  I don't think that they carry much stock so presumably everything comes from the main depot in Bangkok.

 

Anyway, for information, that might be of use to someone, here are the contact details:
