August 11, 20169 yr How is the recent alcohol advertising ban working out? Oh, never happened. Nevermind. How about one of the many traffic crackdowns that were supposed to happen? Oh, another no follow through. How about Thailand's alternative to Facebook? Ah, more hot air. Thailand's new internet? Nope. Also, hot air. The migrant worker crackdown? Anyone? Porno and sex toy clean up in Bangkok? Of course not. Education reform? More hot air. It goes on and on and on and on. Thais love to get their name in the media talking about something, but have zero follow through. And thank the gods they don't!

Ooh, the soaps are on the telly, gotta go... might see someone dressed up to look like a stupid zombie *sigh*. Winnie I find it interesting that people on this forum malign Thais regarding their intelligence but they themselves apparently come from Australia and the USA- countries where academics and intellectuals are ridiculed and feared.

Ronald Reagan, Goerge W Bush, Barak Obama and Donald Trump are/were from the US too as I recall. Not very encouraging. It seems the US does brain-dead pretty well so Pokemon Go should be a roaring success. Winnie

Really? I find that interesting too - if it's true. I'm just glad I don't hail from either place. Australia's OK, but the other place is the most hated country in the world. With good reason yeehah!.
