Modern rides with leather seats are probably leather on the bit you sit on but matching colour vinyl on the bits that your bum don't touch. Well that was the case with my Volvo....But if we talk Bentley or Rolls I would expect 100% leather..

C5VETTE may well be right but l wouldn't go as far as to say it's not real leather rather the term used is l remember is corrected leathers.

Where l put my elbows is leather. :D  l remember my 3.4 'S' type and that was the same the smell was so nice one of the reasons l bought it,  it was secondhand.

The company came to Honda's to carry out the work,  before this we had to go to pick a new colour which ended being two colours and the samples were like original recovering used.

The OP on getting the price on just the one seat is perfectly feasible.

I remember a leather article l found sometime back l found interesting l'll try and dig it out.

For all you doubters.

I have just phoned Toyota BKK. Have been informed that all the seats including the large pockets on the rear of the front two seats on a Spivo are 100% leather that includes the two bucket ones as well. Also the door trims are leather.

Their words Toyota are not like Mercedes that call their seats 'on some models' Merc: leather but are in fact a form of plastic.

None to pleased though they did tell me that putting straw in the tyres was not needed as air would do fine. At least it'll save some agro not forgetting paying out monies to the local Rice farm.

Wouldn't say my leather seats are of the same quality of above, don't expect that on a lump that cost a fraction of the price. Whatever Plastic they most certainly aren't.

If you click on a Model in the Rocaro Website it tells you the Leather used for that Car. Napa is often used these days, even in Mazda despite Mr Fondles of Teak Door saying it's not real

My back used to get hot and sweaty when sat in my Wife's A Class Merc....  I thought the quality of leather (perforated) in that car was awful...  I can believe it was a form of plastic !.....  I've never noticed such issues in our other cars since.

I have no doubt that there are very different grades of leather for different manufacturers and different models.

I put perforated vinyl in a Vios 2006 a couple of years ago. Same feel as leather, front and back, auto place at Ruamchok in CM. Cost 5000 baht including fitting. B15,000 sounds pricey to me, unless there's been a big jump in inflation.

Sorry, should have said it was a full interior restoration. Seats, Door Panels, Carpet, Headliner and Mats..

Put me in the rag seat group. No leather or plastic for me. I like comfort and cloth seats are comfortable. Sweating and sticking to my seat doesn't appeal to me.

Fortuna Drivers just put their old smelly Chang Vest over the Leather Backrest, just to feel at home. No Worries.

For your information we put our Mink coats over the seats and then go out and pester all the peeps driving in their very small cheap Noddy cars.
