Featured Replies

Have been using Google Chrome as my browser but it has stopped working. Won't display. Anyone else with the same problem?

for some reason mine has too.have you like me, use hao123 as your search engine.

the only way i can get on is via internet explorer.which is not working properly.

eg.very slow and missing letters.mine stopped 3days ago.

I use Google to search. Suspect it might be a Chrome thing. I am using Firefox as an alternative.

When I've had Chrome problems, I usually uninstall, then re-install it.  Usually does the job.

if you do aChrome uninstall/reinstall is it possible to back up/save the bookmarks?

If using Windows might be safest to click and drag these to a Favo(u)rites folder first.

Please get rid of that crap. It's a browser hjjacker from Baidu the Chinese virus producer. M.

If you sign in to Chrome after a reinstall, all your bookmarks come back. But you should check them all and see if they're kosher.

Go to your Chrome settings and see what search engines are on. Delete those you don't want.

Same here.Zero access, no loading at all. For 2 days now. Just a guess but but maybe due to the DDOS attack in the US this weekend.

No problems here.

But have you tried starting Chrome in safe mode to make sure it isn't one of your extensions that's causing the problem?

This happened to me as well soon after the 1607 upgrade with W10, but only on my laptop. I ended up uninstalling Chrome (couldn't find a work-around at all) and installed FF as primary browser. As FF doesn't have the same translate qualities as Chrome (IMHO), after the last W10 updates I reinstalled Chrome and all is well again.

But this appears to be random as it only affected my laptop and none of my other computers/tablets/phones so can't say it is W10 related at all.

Whatever it ws it fixed itself. it's working fine for me now.

No, worries, tomorrow I'll go to the temple and make an offering in your name.  A  huuge offering - Donald Trump style.

Perhaps it has an extension using dyndns, which was under attack yesterday?

Yes, a right pain in the ar$e for some, and I think we'll see more attacks of that type in coming days/weeks.

ask the arsenal fans, they have been complaining that middlesbrough highjacked their team on saturday.NASTY VIRUS THAT.

Check out Opera Browser. This might be a good replacement for some people.

I use Linux and have recently had problems with Firefox rendering pages properly. These problems will usually be fixed in the following release, but they are problems that shouldn't really be there to begin with, so I switched to Opera. Welcome change. I put all of my frequented websites on a page called speed dial.

The only extensions I add to any browser are: https everywhere and thefreedictionary. Windows is the most insecure OS around. Don't add insult to injury by adding crappy addons / extensions!

Some Thai computer shops install Baidu here and Baidu there everywhere and your system is already so sick that a little Trojan will do the rest.

Thai's most favorite browser is Baidu, I think I read that somewhere not too long ago.

Had the same issue on one version of W10 which has now sorted itself after the recent updates and no other reason other than Win 10 on that laptop.

I am finding just good reviews for the current Baidu browser, both on Windows and Android.

"Google still dominates the search-engine market in Thailand with a 99.18% share. Up to 30.77% of Internet users opt for Google Chrome, though Microsoft’s Internet Explorer remains the market leader with 44.36%. The other top browsers are Firefox with 14.19% and Safari with 8.92%."

Is it possible that we've got a different internet?

Baidu is positively cancerous.

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

No, of course not, but that is a 2 year old blog that is 1 persons view. I know that previously Baidu did have some security concerns, but it is getting a lot better, (as is their anti-virus I read on numerous pages).
