The Hurricane s/s airfilter I used in the CRF seemed to breath easier than the OEM version....plus its a lifetime filter so in the end it will save you baht.  Not sure in regards it's filtering performance but the bike operated well.

 

I too wound out the preloaded on the rear shock...but then my weight of 97kg probably deemed it so!
