Building a Kitchen (Aprox. 20sqm) , price and opinion

I own a single detached house in BKK where I'm extending my backyard as a kitchen.

It's a out 6meters wide and 3meters in length.

I want a nice and functionally great kitchen. Im estimating this:

Construction, foundation, walls and ceiling- 100k Baht

Kitchen cabinets and tools another 100k Baht

Is total of 200k Baht sufficiently? Anyone has similar experience? Im looking something similar to my attached picture

Not trying to poke a hole in your balloon, but that looks, well I'll just say I'm not impressed.  For 200K, I would expect a LOT more.  Guessing this is from one of the "Home" design idiots that, outside of playing with the software, have no clue.  Sorry to be so negative, but you can do a lot better, believe me.

I think the OP was envisaging a split of 100k for building the structure and 100k for the kitchen fit out.

I would say you will be pushed to get someone to come along and build and extension for 5k bt/m2 when the build cost on a more simple house is 10k/m2

so if you are budgeting, you can start with 200k (and dont be surprised if its 300k) just for the kitchen extension.

I have to agree with the previous poster that if you have been quoted circa 100k for that design then they saw you coming.

Why not get a concrete kitchen set up included in your main construction job. it'll be a negligible add on cost. then you can just buy "cassette" doors for less than 2k a pair, get a nice granite worktop supplied and fitted for 1k bt/m run and some nifty shopping for appliances you can get fully fitted for 50/60k..I am being generous there because I built mine for 40k

conclusion; imho, you can spend 50/60k if you want, or 100k if you want on the kitchen fit out.

The main construction work, from 200k i would think

DIY; yes 100k for the build, 50k for the kitchen........go for it!!

Do you know what stores sell the (1k baht/m run) granite counter tops and those 2k/baht 'cassette' type drawers?

HomePro have the door and draw units in various materials, ours are teak and cost rather more than 2k :)

Not checked the price of the PVC (yuk) ones.

EDIT

"Wood" 1,590 Baht https://www.directtoshop.com/product/246794

Draw units are rather more expensive https://www.directtoshop.com/category/12975?sort=pa
