November 19, 20169 yr Popular Post So any insiders have word on Thai release of the new Honda Rebels?
November 19, 20169 yr So the 300 still uses the 286cc thumber. The 500 looks pretty cool, bobber type, a budget HD48 that cost an arm & leg.

Mrs. mikebike had a Savage 650 back home and hasn't been too chuffed about any of the newer cruiser bikes available here... now she is pumped over the new Rebel... she actually started riding on an original Rebel 250 which was totally disassembled and rebuilt in our living room!! 55555!! http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/honda/honda-rebel.html
November 20, 20169 yr The first one looks like a modders wet dream! It's a honda though.. reliable, but probably sounds like.. uhm.
November 20, 20169 yr Will be the 4th variation for the 471cc twin. CBR CBF CBX Rebel Which makes sense I suppose. At least the mechanics will be familiar with servicing and working on them. :D
November 30, 20169 yr I hope the engine got retuned for low down torque and maybe counterbalancer to remove vibes above 5k RPM. I have the CBR500R and a cruiser is not exactly what comes to my mind when thinking about the engine. Should have put a 270 degree crank on it too.
February 10, 20179 yr Popular Post Saw this today the "300" nice very nice..i think B170K look forward to seeing the "500"

February 11, 20179 yr MrsB has nowhere to sit.... No room for the 5 year old who did the graphics either....I despair.
February 13, 20179 yr Popular Post Just introduced in Phetchaburi. Modified version though as in Chiang Mai.

February 13, 20179 yr Thanks. Now I see it on Honda Thailand's big bikes site.http://www.hondabigbike.com/en/hondabigbike-product-rebel.ashx
February 19, 20179 yr Author Cool Ken!! Please let us know what you think of her after you put some KMs on it!!
February 20, 20179 yr Just bought this yesterday in Korat. 159,500 Baht. Yes this is the 300 cc. The 500 is a twin cylinder and would have two exhausts coming from the engine.
February 20, 20179 yr Cheesey is the word, saw one today, pretty bloody awful IMO. If they took the badges off you would think it was Chinese.... I plan on buying a CRF250 at the end of the year and wanted to take a look to see it would work better. My plans remain unchanged, the CRF has that well proven 250cc engine.... and a 128k price-tag. Looks like a proper bike, the Rebel looks like a fake.
February 21, 20179 yr Jesus H. Christ!!! I don't believe it!! Allan B's first paragraph in the above post; i actually agree with him... There's a first. Wonders never cease. # Current CRF250L RRP is 135,500, they've also got 2 more bhp than previous models. And a tach.
