The boy was born in Germany prior to Merkel being elected Chancellor, so in this instance your comment in nonsense.

One of the many benefits of multiculturalism is home-grown terrorists, and you can't even deport them when they finish their sentence.

The outcomes of terrorist convictions varies from country to country. Don't know the detail for German born nationals, but in Oz detention for citizens can now be extended indefinitely from the original sentence if the prisoner is considered an ongoing risk. Obviously cannot deport someone if they only hold Oz citizenship.
