Bumrungrad w wheelchair via airport link to BKK?

I wouldn't even try the ARL.  No matter how you go, you're going to end up in a taxi.

If you hop in a taxi at the airport, you're work is finished, and it's up to the driver.  Sit back, hold on and wait for one of Bumrungrad's attendants to open the taxi door.

If you take the ARL, you have to deal with crowds on the train itself, negotiate the terminal station to get down to street level and still hop on a taxi for the last leg of your trip.   And your choice of taxis may not be conducive to a wheelchair.

All to save about $6.

One caveat- with a wheelchair, get in the taxi line for a van style taxi, not a sedan type.  It's a new thing- 2 lines and the reason for the 2 lines is not clear until you get to the front.  And hope you're in the right one.

As noted, get a taxi at the airport. It's going to be extremely hard work otherwise.

I don't even know how you would manage the last stretch without a taxi. You would literally have to wheel yourself down the road, hoping vehicular traffic misses you.

Typical situation= a friend says= Why don't you use the airport express. It's now ever so easy, even with a wheelchair.

And prompt you feel obliged to try.

As a matter of fact, I always have been using the limousine service.

Good drivers, polite, great cars.

Once more grateful that a quick question on TV.com save me from an awkward mistake

If your friend used the word Express, their information is dated.  The Express line has been shut down for years due to lack of riders.

They still run the city line on those tracks, which is about on par with a BTS or MRT ride.  Stopping every 5 minutes or so, very often standing room only.

The limo service is the way to go if it doesn't hurt in the wallet.  Taxis would be second choice.  I use taxis and have been generally satisfied, with an occasional long line.  Last Thursday's line looked ridiculously long, but the wait was 17 minutes.  Usually, less than 5.
