petedk Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I have been reading all the threads about True cutting channels on their cable TV and am trying to find a new solution. Someone in another thread suggested searching Google for IPTV packages and I was surprised to see how many there were. At the moment I have been using an Android box and paying 300 Baht a month for FWIPTV, which is ok, although sometimes I can't connect. Having searched Google I found several international packages that contained most (if not all ) British TV channels and also lots of Scandinavian channels AND have catch up capabilities. I lived in Denmark for many years and would sometimes like to see Danish TV. Anyway, some of the packages seem reasonably priced, so I thought I might try one. Here come my questions (I am not so technically minded). 1. Would these packages stream any faster, or at least at the same speed as FWIPTV? 2. Are they legal? 3. Most seem to recommend using a Magbox. Is that the same as my Minix Android box? If not can I use my Android box. 4. Does anyone have any experience with any of the packages?

Simple install Kodi then addon what you want to watch and watch for FREE, have done for some years myself, have it on a Android box + my old XP Laptop and my home PC with windows 10. If you don't want Kodi then search direct for what Country you want... eg: http://www.tv4web.net/Watch-Free-Online-TV-From-Denmark.htm http://www.olweb.tv/tv_channels/denmark and so on........... always did this for UK TV and Sports I wanted to watch, myself just find it easier to have it all in one place on Kodi......... as a back-up still have the other links in my Bookmarks
JHolmesJr Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 You can watch IPTV on a minix android with kodi installed…by using the PVR Stalker add-on that comes pre-installed. Just need to get into the settings and fill in some details like MAC no (device ID), passwords etc. These services aren't 100% perfect and the legal issues are a grey area…but i doubt you will have anyone break down your door and water board you for it. Check out RUYA IPTV and USA IPTV…

The pay packages will generally offer higher quality streams in SD and HD including PPV and live events without much buffer. Hard to find on the free Kodi addons at times and keeps changing.
thedemon Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 For Danish TV on Kodi, you can watch all the DR channels without geoblocking with this addon. Also some Swedish & Norwegian channels. Good quality and rarely suffers buffering in my experience. https://superrepo.org/da/kodi/addon/plugin.video.iptvxtra-de-more/ That addon also includes TV2 Channels but I have never been able to get those to work even with a VPN or DNS proxy. There is also a TV2 addon (https://superrepo.org/kodi/addon/plugin.video.tv2.dk/) which is not geoblocked but has limited content and no live channels. If you manage to find any more Danish TV Kodi addons, please post.

I have tried using the pre-installed applications for Kodi. but they don't seem to give good results. A lot of buffering and many channels don't open. Maybe I need to study more.

I'll play around with Kodi first and some of the tips that you all have given. No real hurry to make a decision.
