Kanchanaburi police said that a 64 year old man shot his wife in the face and chest before turning the gun on himself in a murder suicide yesterday.

Sangwian Suksri, 65, had just got back to the house in Ban Kao sub-district after taking a grandchild to school on her motorbike.

Saman Naokhreua emerged from the house with a gun and shot her twice.

Police found her lying beside her old motorcycle face up in a pool of blood.

Behind the house about twenty meters away they found the body of Saman face up on a bed underneath a jackfruit tree. Next to him was the gun used in the shooting of his wife.

He had killed himself with the gun, said police.

With your investigative skills, you should be hired by the RTP immediately.

He probably wanted know what she was doing out of the kitchen and then shot himself when he saw that there wasn't any beer in the fridge either.
