Who is managing Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Just wondering, who is the "mayor" or one that makes decisions in Pattaya now?  Since the junta allows no elections, is there a city council or what? When I ask local Thais (ones who understand English) just smile and say they do not know.

The Junta appointed a new city council , I believe the deputy mayor is now acting mayor.
The old mayor is roumored to be under house arrest.

That'd be great, keep 'em from polluting the forum. However, I've urged in the past that our whingers take their complaints to the source but to no avail.
