Do it yourself car wash stations in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hello Bangkok People,

where may I wash my own vehicle at one of those insert coin and wash the vehicle yourself stations in Bangkok our near Laksi, please?

So boring to get new painting crashes after I bring my car to be washed

Thank you.

Michael

In 10+ years in Bangkok I have never seen one of those.

Everyone just drops their car at the bottom of the shopping mall and gets it washed.

Thais are always "amazed" (maybe aghast) to see me washing my own car....never seen a self service car wash...but heard they do exist here in maybe very few locations.

I also have never seen a coin-operated car wash in Thailand. Sorry OP.

But googling states there is one in Soi Akat Uthit, Don Meuang

Any other location in BKK ?

So funny that they sell drinking water everywhere but that they are not smart enough to understand that they could make a lot of money by just adding a pressure gun to the machines !

But that's the whole point. They wouldn't make any money because Thai people with nice cars don't tend to wash their own vehicles.

This is as stupid as when people who own a shop say: I close at 6pm because I don't have customers after 6pm ! Of course monkey, you cannot have customers when you are closed.

Anybody who knows anything about business will know that high pressura car washer will soon be a good business in Thailand.

I'll keep my eyes open. If it's a good business it will be quickly copied.

Never seen one of those either. I just drop the car at the carwash in Central and go do my stuff.

And luckily you don't check the scratches that they made on your car.

The pressure gun is easy.  The water recycling system is the expensive part.

Funny boy ! As if they would recycle any water in this country ! Are you dreaming that your car wash re-use the water ?

Dear All,

Sorry for my late reply through password issue.

Tks to all of you for your reply.

Cheers

Michael

There's one next to every self serve petrol station!  I also miss the California style bikini clad fundraiser car washes!
