Pratamnak desert

No water up here in Pattaya's 'posh' ghetto.

Is anyone else having the same issues?

Just found out that the mains water should be back on tonight after repairs to a burst main !....I won't hold my breath!

We are at the bottom of Pratumnak and the city water is off. Thankfully we have at least 4 days supply in store.

I saw reports at least 2 paces that water mains are being repaired

Cosy Beach - no water today. I ran out last night. Does anyone have a good water truck supply number to call for a small tank refill?

Here's some more in case people are in need in future:

You won't get water if you can't speak Thai. LOL> I ended up chasing water trucks on my bike.

I had to cancel my order as the water just came back on at Cosy Beach.

Anyone over in Jomtien harnessing the current lightning and catching the rain?

Better be quick it will stop soon. starting to ease up in Na-Jomtien already.

3 days of this is forecast. Have a nice weekend.

So residents of Pattaya's "Beverly hills"  have time to get down to Tescos and buy a few of the biggest plastic bins they sell.

How do you get a garbage bin full of water, that I assume has to be filled on the ground floor, up to your apartment on floor X? I knew there was a reason I bought a house with a huge underground tank and a water pump. Never run dry yet, even when the water has been switched off for several days.

It's a food grade 115 litre bin. LOL> you fill it up when you have water, so you have backup supply when you don't. Any floor will do as the pump fills it.

Most places have tanks with water pumps. I can make my supply last 3 days if I need to, the problem is knowing then the outside supply has stopped so I can start conserving it.
