Drama at the dentists - man's ex refuses to sign divorce papers, then the shooting starts

KHON KAEN:-- An estranged husband went to a dentists where his ex worked to get her to sign some divorce papers. But when she refused he pistol whipped her in front of shocked staff.

Then he tried to shoot her but she managed to get out of the way. The glass front of the orthodontist's was smashed.

He then reloaded but fortunately this time the gun jammed.

Khon Kaen police rushed to the scene and arrested the 44 year old man who was carried away in the back of a pick-up. The 39 year old wife, who works as a maid at the dentists, was treated at the scene then taken to hospital.

The drama happened in the area of the Khon Kaen university.

The man was charged with attempted murder and weapons offences.

The news anchor in the clip says it was a shotgun and right at the end you can see the gun.  It is one of those home made Thai Saturday night specials - a single shot break action hand gun that looks like a semi auto pistol but takes a 12 gauge shotgun shell.  That must the same style of weapon the guy in Chiang Mai used to shoot himself in the genitals.  That would explain the large hole in the glass and and why he had to reload after one shot and then had trouble getting the contraption to fire again.

 

It is scary that there are so many of these home made guns around in Thailand selling for next to nothing.  Any dimwit can afford one.

In the back of a pickup truck not good probably will not here again from him in a long long time ?

Don´t make him look so bad. He just wanted his wife to finalize the the divorce. When she refused he just took the next nescessary step trying to make the divorce permanent. LOL

Yeah! We probably all been there, but luckily still something says that it´s time to walk away. That´s probably what states the differens between a solid state mind and an insecure and fragile one.
