Suits for Rent

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am in need for a suit for ONE SINGLE DAY, a couple hours at that. Does anybody know of a place that rents suits? A simple suit like you would wear to a funeral of some sort. Obviously there are many places in the states in UK that do but I am not sure about here in Thailand and any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Might help if you said where ? Hardly much use if the shop is Udon Thani and you are in Phuket for instance.

Why do you need a suit here?

Went to a really hi so wedding two days ago. Grooms (rather rich) daddy wore his best jeans, sandles and open kneck short-sleeve shirt.

I was better dressed in chinos, loafers, white linen shirt.

I wore a suit once to my wife's aunt's funeral. I was the only one and it was unbearably hot.

IMHO

I think its impossible to find a suit here for one day . TIT and all that .  Visit any tailor and they want to sell you one.   The locals do not rent suits, if they can afford it they will buy one.
