PHUKET: The body of an Australian tourist was found in a Phuket hotel room at about 4pm yesterday. The deceased was believed to have died of a sudden cardiac arrest.

Peter John Bright, 55, was staying at the 'Hello Yaya Residence' hotel on Phra Baramee Road. He had been there since February 23 and was due to check out yesterday.

“Mr Bright’s daughter was the one who first discovered his body when she came with her boyfriend to invite her father to lunch. He was lying topless on the bed, with the bottom half covered by a blanket,” said Capt Sirinat Cherdchutrakulthong of Patong Police.

You need to read the link to get the fairly vital detail that he took two girls to his room.

They left an hour later.  The lower part of his body was covered with a blanket.

Many theories will stem from that situation.

Been quite a few of these hotel room deaths this year already. Bear in mind also that many don't make the press.

I wonder what tourist death figure the Government will pull out of the air this year (of course based on 2016 but you know what I mean).

Except most of the time it is not real Viagra.  It is a "generic" form of Viagra from India or China and it is dangerous.  It looks the same and has the same packaging much of the time and you buy it from legit pharmacies thinking it is the genuine Viagra.  Thai pharmacies are full of "generic" products being sold as the real thing.  Be very careful out there.

RIP,

Yes, Quite possible, not even generic Viagra, these so called pharmacies sell this junk without any accountability for its impact,  it is a crude Chinese junk that sells for 5 usd a pack when real Viagra sells for 100usd. Lived here for 16 yrs and 3to 4 deaths per year due to poisonous Viagra copies from china and India in pattaya alone . Buyers beware.. Do not endanger your health and life with cheap meds.

Generics have the same active ingredient....they may have cheaper

fillers....You are just not paying for all the Viagra Advertising.  They

are as safe as the "Brand Name".  ( That is often counterfeited ,) find

The time to have the time of your life is in your 20's, you then won't regret that you didn't for the rest of your life, and end up trying to 'make up for lost time' as a sex-pat in a third world country popping erection pills with seedy prostitutes.

After reading the available news source there is no need for speculation until an autopsy and all lab investigation is completed.

It will be interesting to hear what the two ladies in tow had to say.  I hope they interviewed them separately.

A day may come where short time rooms and hotels are forced to post warning signs...

"Caution, alcohol consumption and two or more women can he fatal."

"Up to you."

Good Luck!

"However, in view of the circumstances, we need full payment up front along with a refundable cleaning and sanitize fee.

Yes, 20s only time you can live it up. Sex after 30, no way. After 50 impossible. Sheesh!

Oh dear silly comment. His daughter isn't 6 years old!

Im pretty sure they would have gone before the daughter arrived.

I started having the time of my life with girls way before my twenties and have continued on ever since.  When you get older and depending on where you live then availability of women gets thinner on the ground which is why men often find themselves in places like Thailand.  As for the erection pills, I think it just shows that the desire doesn't die as quickly as the power of the pen*s.

Of course there are plenty of men who go off of sex pretty early and fill their lives with other things.  I understand that knitting can be very rewarding if that takes your fancy.

Now in Vitamin V and Vitamin C and Vitamin L, these things do not happen do they

So thinking of a holiday be-careful which Vitamin you choose to visit or it could be the last one you ever take as things are

RIP Peter, man from downunder. Why on earth the Aussies go anywhere with a country like theirs I will never know, much more pleasant and enjoyable

Having spent a fair bit of time in India, looking into the generic medication there I found they are  of a high quality and affordable. As an example a friend in Australia suffered from Hep C. The cure is tablets Sovaldi worth over $1000 a tablet that must be taken each day for 6 months for Type 3.

So it would have been $168000 for original, or $720 for the generic Indian ones. Her Dr in Australia helped her get the Indian ones, now nearly 2 years later, no Hep C in her system. Worked 100℅ same as the original medication.

Most Indian companies do adhere to strict quality controls, but there have been occasional problems with some Indian and Chinese drug manufacturing companies same like problems have also existed in Australia, Austria, Germany Japan, Ireland and Spain which can happen with both generic and brand name drugs both having the same standards. You may actually find that Indian and Chinese companies are now one of the safest options, as they are being heavily scrutinized and are two of the leading countries in the world in drug exports

Of course he went too early and I don't believe generic V's had anything to

due with his death that name brand Viagra would not have also caused.

He was just living life too the fullest. Nothing criminal or even morally wrong

as far as I am concerned. RIP and condolences to family and friends.

aussiebrian,

I agree with everything you write in your post.  It is not the generic medicine as much as the copies produced to fool people that they are the actual product.  Some times they are just chalk and innocuous and sometimes they are downright dangerous.  Many guys I knew ten years ago in S.E.A took Kamagra which is the Indian version of Viagra and it worked well for them.  However then there were copies flooding the market and they were dangerous.  I know of two people who died of heart attacks directly from taking the copy.  One in Thailand and one in Cambodia.

India does not make fake viagra. All their generic stuff has it's own  brand name as it is made legally .

This is the fact the ' genuine ' viagra spreads the fake news about generic viagra to try and justify ridiculous pricing as is common in the drug industry, Sidinfil is easy to make and no doubt western companies use far east factories to make their product.

Everyone should know by now the big con is coming from the Western drug companies supported by the U.S. drug lobby in government , who arrange for U.S. users to pay often double the price than their Canadian / European counterparts pay. Google it.

She was with her boyfriend, he was having fun. Some grown up children are actually happy for their parents to be having fun while they are. Shock!

Good for her. It's called live and let live. Some of you lot should try it.

Well, if your time is up, what better way to go. Drinks all evening with family, antibiotic medication, two girls for dessert and maybe a V tablet for stimulation.  Having said that, the above combination is a bit risky, if one's immune system is fighting infection.

Maybe Black Ant would have worked better? I understand it doesn't interact with alcohol.

He certainly looked fit enough when he was dancing around at a friend's bar a couple of hours earlier, but then again these things do happen, naturally sometimes unfortunately.

He may well have taken a pill along with his guests, but then again we don't know if his guests had their own concoctions to take, and this may well have tipped him over the edge – – perhaps an autopsy will provide more info.

All the same, RIP and far too young to die.
