Getting wiper arms replaced + wiper jets

Featured Replies

My wiper blade has been blunt for months now, reduces visibility on the windscreen quite a bit. Seems like the jets are broken as well as the water leaks right out.

Where do I get this fixed? In Australia its a DIY scenario. Would a run of the mill mechanic get this fixed up?

Your main dealer will have replacement jets if they have rotted...If not rotted take them off and clean them with a solvent. You can buy replacement blade assemblies at Tesco...

Wiper blades are really simple to change, and are available in all major supermarkets. I recently changed mine and bought these;1e04d4abc9d3abdd7a42504b5f83e1e5.jpg

All silicone, no metal. I think they were able 350 baht for one. On my car they are not the same size so check before you buy.

A set of Bosch wiper blades costs around 250 THB. The jets depend on your vehicle. Could range from 800 THB for a Toyota to 3,000 THB for a chevrolet captiva (don't ask me why :))
