Anyone go to the Buriram circuit races, what's it like.??

Hot time for the riders.

A mate went but haven't spoken with him yet.

1st race is on YouTube.

Offshore working so can't go.

Was there 2 years ago and loved it, hopefully next year.

Thanks but how was it, easy to get to, easy parking, just pay at the door.?

We bought the tickets at 7/11 I think.

The hard part was getting hotel rooms and had to settle for rooms 50 km south of the track in a small town. Some of the bike racing team members stayed there as well.

If you intended to go book room soon via Agoada or similar.

Yes parking was easy, went in the truck as wife & son went too.

A expat friend went as well so we drove in 2 trucks. My friend and I had lots of beers so our wife/gf did the driving back to the hotel where we had more beers, lol.

My friend bought pit passes for him & I on race day, 1000 baht a pop. Well worth it, you can talk to the riders, take photos.

For next year 2018?

No 2015, the first ever super bike race in Thailand.

Oh you mean booking for next year? Well 2 months in advance should be OK I think.

We all pre booked the VIP tickets, A friend tried to get one more, 3 days before the race but was told it was sold out.

For regular tickets, im not sure. The Grandstand above us on the main straight looked packed..but plenty of seats available at the stands further round the circuit.

Cheers I'm hoping not to be in a crowded area.

You want grandstand seats, shaded and commanding view over large parts of the circuit.

I am sure my friend bought the tickets at 7/11 but maybe that's changed now?
