RAYONG: -- Locals called police to some rocks at Laem Charoen Beach, Rayong, on Sunday when human remains were found.

The rotting flesh and bone was emitting a foul odor over the whole area of the rocks, Daily News reported.

Police said they were human remains but they have no idea who it was.

As they usually say when remains are washed up, they suspect that it is a foreign worker who was a crew member on a boat at sea.

The remains, found in the Pak Nam sub-district of Muang district, were sent for an autopsy.

Wouldn't make much difference if he was unconscious at the time of entering the water. Chances are we will never know.

you're a senior member and  as such should refrain from disgusting suggestions in a murderous play of grab and die on fishing boats.

May i remind you that just a week ago a life time human trafficker has finaly got what he deserved, Jail.4 years.

your're post is far from funny!

Would probably not have been much use to the poor unfortunate individual in this case had they met their fate miles out to sea.

"Adopting Resolution 2240 (2015), Security Council Authorizes Member States to Intercept Vessels off Libyan Coast Suspected of Migrant Smuggling"

Maybe the Thai navy could ask the United Nations for permission to intercept fishing vessels in international waters off the coast to prevent human slavery? ?

Lowly crew members often get chucked over the side once the catch is in. Reduces the wage bill. I kid you not.

I didn't give you a like because of the subject but we occasionally get them washed up on our local beach  in Rayong. It seems they're mostly Cambodian and get shot or just thrown over the side when they complain about getting paid and the conditions of their job. If they're working on a squid boat it's very unlikely any remains would be found as the squid can be very voracious. You hear stories about not being able to identify the bodies so the families can't be informed of their death, it's tragic.
