PATTAYA: -- Siamchon News reported that Songkran celebrations were in full swing all along Jomtien beach in Pattaya yesterday.

They said the beach was packed for 5 kilometers with people eating, drinking, taking a dip in the sea and splashing water.

There was a lot of traffic in the area as people had come from miles around to celebrate the Thai New Year in the lovely weather at the resort.

And traders were smiling too with all the custom with many enjoying facilities such as banana boats and jetskis.

Thats enough of these positive, everyone is benefiting stories. These stories dont sit well with many ThaiVisa members. Its very hard to turn one of these threads into a "dont buy a condo", "a bargirl stole my kidney", "Thai people hate us" thread.

Must be photo-shopped picture, according to the experts on this forum nobody ever swims in the sea here!!!

Maybe they all left Ayuthaya where instead of throwing water they decided to shoot each other.

Thank god for small favors.

Thanks for those pictures of an insanely packed beach,  makes Thailand beaches seem a lot easier

to be at.  I do enjoy the beach at Jomtien, but prefer to swim in a pool, or go to Phuket to swim in

the ocean.

Geezer
