PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN — A swamp of pink sacred lotuses in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park were blooming as of Thursday, a phenomenon which occurred for the first time in ten years.

 

Among cattails and reeds, pink sacred lotuses were blooming as far as the eye could see in the lotus swamp at a national park located in western Thailand.

I can hardly contain my excitement......by the way, the field is flooded.

No mention of two of my garden mango trees that have both fruited for the first time since planted nine years ago.

I've decided to switch to eating lotus flowers....but not from a smelly swamp!

That's pretty neat, would like to see that !
Have eaten plenty of the lotus flowers in their pod stages, plenty round Lat Yao ( Nakhon Sawan ) where my gf is from but never seen the swamps in bloom to that extent.
