Yes a good result, thank God (and the responsible French media). BUT do not underestimate what happened here and the indication it gives as to the undercurrent in Europe. What the far right achieved here is nothing short of  huge!  All European countries need to take note. This is a free warning and Governments needs to quickly address the (mainly) immigration issues that are causing such unrest. People that would never have voted for what can only be described as fascists did so in France. 30+ % this time and if people do not find that scary then they should.

PARIS (Reuters) - Emmanuel Macron was elected president of France on Sunday with a business-friendly vision of European integration, defeating Marine Le Pen, a far-right nationalist who threatened to take France out of the European Union.
