no, not hoddle. pretty sure he only damaged the charts on his duet with chris waddle, the formidable 'diamond lights'.

i've had this question before in a pub quiz. it's someone who played for argentina then italy, possibly in the first two world cups. mosri or monti or something.

Yes well done s h. it' luis monti he was my mates g grand father i met   him b4 he died in pescare.,  truly a legend in italy in the bobby charlton stature and some .... but   yeah  played  4 argentina who lost to uraguay  than won it  in the famed 'u win or u die ' final 4 italy. Your shout stevie  sticking to the singing one?

I' m supposing s h is gonna, would the singer be el tel? And a story bout that song bac in the day used to live socialise on the old kent rd and a resident band were the backin band on that song and we could never QUITE get the singer/guitarist to admit he sang the vocals NOT waterman,, but on the v odd occasion when they played it you 100 % knew he did.

Ok then thanks I'll take that as correct.

 

I'll think of another soon but yes I employed the puskas fill in word format to avoid a Googler answering. There's still a question within an answer unanswered here if you read carefully or perhaps if I wrote correctly.
