Which is The Best Hospital or Clinic in Phuket?? See Below

Featured Replies

I've done a bunch of research on Google and I'm not feelin very good about any of my options. It's easy to see many reviews are fake for different locations on Google. Really not sure where to go. Specifically I need to see a dermatologist, but would also like to get FULL tests done for everything just to check my general health.

I actually went to Phuket International Hospital about 8 months ago for a skin condition and the doctor (that was recommended on trip advisor) did NOT do a good job. Basically told me my issue would heal on it's own. It never did after 8 months and with some pretty quick research online I came to find out that I should have received the proper tests and then received the proper antibiotics that would fix the issue in 5-10 days.

Does anyone have firsthand experience more than once with any of the hospitals in Phuket?  Seems like my best options are still going to be the Bangkok Hospital Phuket or the Phuket International where I was before??

Or does anyone know of a good dermatologist in Phuket?  Thanks!!

Actually the dermatologist I saw that did not do a good job was a doctor recommended on here a few times Dr Sithaporn and he was nice, BUT did not do a good job per my post above. No one is perfect and fortunately my issue isn't life threatening, but something to consider if you are trying to decide for yourself where to go.

The situation with dermatologists in Phuket is not very good - there aren't many of them and most are geared towards cosmetics. Many people in Phuket fly up to Bangkok for derm issues of a non-cosmetic sort. If you do, I suggest Dr. Niyom at Bumrungrad.

If you want to keep trying in Phuket, some TV members have reported favorably on a derm clinic located at 78/79 Bangkok Road, open evenings and Saturday mornings, so I suspect it is run by dermatologist from the government hospital. Tel 076 256409,
