Inchcape (Thailand) Co Ltd, the distributor of Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles in Thailand, has launched a Range Rover Evoque crossover. It costs Bt6.299 million for the Convertible HSE Dynamic version.

The canvas roof can be folded in 18 seconds, even while the vehicle is moving (below 30mph) and. The car is powered by a 240-horsepower two-litre engine.

Inchcape also showed off the Jaguar XE Never Edition, which is exhibited in street art form by artist Mongkol Ratanaphakdi (aka Never).

The company is also offering an interest-free, 48-month instalment promotion with five-year warranty and 24-hour emergency service.

6 million baht - 240 horsepower. What is wrong with this picture ...

When the range rover came out a long time ago and you were going into the jungle or over almost impassable terrain then this was the only vehicle that could beat the Jeep hands down.To buy one as a luxury car at this price says that you have more money then brains,There are a lot better luxury cars out there that beat the Range Rover.Of course here in LOS brains are a bit slow to catch up with ones "Face".

Yeah - not nearly enough horses for the weight

Made by the Indian company Tata who took over Range Rover and Jaguar. Can look nice but are expensive and cheaply built. For quality you are better off with a Toyota....or if you crave status and a big face then waste some money on a BMW,  Mercedes or Porsche, at least they are well built and will retain value.

It's not about status and big face. It's about liking something nice. Maybe you only checkin 500 baht hotels ? Not me. And this is exactly the same thing, I also do not drive Japanese cars.

Land Rover... Good for short rides between home and garage to get it fixed constantly for outrageous amounts of money.

Another jealous Toyota driver.

Some people simply have a lot of disposable income. Value retention isn't a factor for them.

So they make decisions based on style, fun to drive etc.

The car in question look great. Not sure this is the best climate for it though.

For those that like it and can afford it - good luck to them.
