Police in Udon Thani have announced the arrest of a local woman who ripped off people by promising them work opportunites in Australia, South Korea and Japan.

Kittiya Musikpan, 30, - described by Daily News as a "tom" - was arrested after she set up a Facebook page offering study and work visas to the three countries.

Taken into evidence were 23 passports, ten fake stamps and six account books. The suspect was arrested at the Thap Thong apartment building in Soi Phromprakai in downtown Udon.

Kittiya was charging up to 100,000 baht to arrange the trips. But the victims got nothing in return. Losses are thought to be in the region of five million baht with dozens of victims.

Manoo Maekmork said that Kittiya was arrested on a warrant issued by the Udon court earlier.

Daily News said that Kittiya was using her ill-gotten gains to lavish money on other women to the tune of 10,000 baht a day.

She had been charged with fraud and detained.

A sign of the times and desperation.

hmm desperate perchance.?

Bail will be set     she will get out     later plead guilty, say I'm sorry and pay a small fine and that will be the end of it.  Case closed.

Of what possible relevance is her sexual orientation? Truly the worst sort of gutter journalism.

Bail will be set while she gets out and 'Pays-off' the right police.........   Case closed............

I know it's a cliche but I count 14 coppers and that's just in frame.

If it seems to good to be true...........

Lack of quality education = easy victims

Really? Greed is the word not quality education as some highly educated people around the world got conned because of greed.?
