CityNews – Maharaj Nakron Chiang Mai Hospital (Suan Dok Hospital) is short on blood of all types and is accepting donations every day during regular working hours.

Any blood type is welcome, as the hospital is short on blood.

Anyone wishing to donate their blood can visit the Sripat Building, Faculty of Medicine Chiang Mai University, on the 1st floor from 8am – 4pm (closed Noon – 1pm).

For more information please call 053 935 624.

hospitals dont share with each other ?

This is thailand, no one shares with anyone unless there is something in it for them, even though all blood donations are freely given by the donor.

Do you get a blood test in reward for a blood donation?

Of course hospitals do share. Blood stocks

Back in February when I had an operation on my broken arm/elbow my hospital , Vitchaiyut Hospital in Bangkok delayed my operation by 24 hours until they could guarantee a ready supply of B! positive Blood in case it was needed.

As it turned out, it wasn't required in  my case.

But it was there in case it was required.
