PM pens another poem as morale booster for his Cabinet

This time it was his Cabinet’s turn to benefit, with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s talented poetry writing still in full flow as he penned another poem for his ministerial colleagues, aimed at boosting their morale by encouraging them to remain focused and work tirelessly for the people.

The premier’s poem urged them not to give up when encountering struggles along the way when working for the people, and to use their wisdom instead to overcome them.

“Be focused and correct things, one after another. People’s happiness is in our hands,” read the final lines of his morale-boosting verse.

The poem – titled “Morale for you, the Cabinet” – is the third recently written by the PM, despite the fact that he earlier said he would “rather keep his mouth shut” after his previous poems sparked a brief verbal tussle among established poets, some of whom who were split over the PM’s verse and additional stanzas appended to his efforts by their peers.

What happens if the rulers do not make the right things?

Where is the necessary corrective?

Happiness is always there where people can participate and co-decide.

I forgot how the word is called but it starts with a "d".

Beautifully written. I cant wait until his book of poetry goes on sale.

It will be a smash worldwide.

Booker prize. Noble peace prize. Cha Cha Cha is going to win the lot.

Teach him the Haiku or the Tanka format...

To be fair, we must recognise he has the merit of providing us the opportunity to have a good laugh from time to time! :smile:

Im sure all his cabinet of Generals are totally inspired by his poetry as I have not seen or heard a complaint !

Nero fancied himself a poet too.

Nero was nicknamed "The Supreme Artist"! Soon a Thai remake of "QUO VADIS"?

I think even Sigmund Freud would have a challenge with PM Prayut.

Plagiarised. Al Dublin wrote 'We're in the money'. Also, it's a song not a poem.

Who by?

Methinks your poem does not scan,

I think you need another plan.

Why not copy the works of others?

I know a happy band of brothers.

Try looking up some Pink Floyd hits;

There's one that will thrill you to bits;

'We don't need no education'

Everyone needs some thought control.

Here is a bit of prose just for the beloved junta;

revered wise men with experience in anything under the sun
superior intelligence developed by the best schooling in the world
skilled experts whose knowledge to solve problems is peerless and can do no wrong
instilled with an unshakable moral code and ethics that guarantees fairness in everything
altruistic, enlightened, brilliant and gifted is the Thai military leadership and the Thai people are grateful that they were chosen to be ruled by them

and no one personifies these qualities and talents better than the supreme general himself
