Hello all,

 

Was wondering if anyone knows if /where you can buy Beer Laos (Dark), in the Nong Khai area?

I have seen it in BKK and Pattaya 7-11s but could not get hold of it last New Year in Nong Khai.

We used to live in Thailand for 5 years but moved back to Oz for the kids schooling etc., a couple of years ago.

We return about once a year  and last year was disappointed at both Leo and Changs new recipes. 

Both tasted very bland compared to how I remembered them (and lower alcohol)..

Also does anybody order beer online and do they deliver to the boondocks?

(Tesco, Big C, Tops etc)

Last year could not even buy Singha in the village only the big 2 beers available.

Heading back over soon and would like some beer with flavour (as I have been drinking a bit of stout and darker ales lately)..

Macro sell it but it's extremely hit or miss as to what/how much and when they stock it.

There is no hit or miss if you know the guy in the beer section at Makro, i pull around 10 box at a time and when i get low i call my man and check what's available.

Looks like I will have to check out Makro, or get on to Wishbeer for the next visit back to the village.

I get the dark from Makro due to the cost difference, and the Gold from Tops Ubon.

 

Tops have all 3 types but with higher prices.

Just received a few bottles of the nectar from Wishbeer today.

Ballast Point , bloody good beer that!

Tried the Ballast Point Sculpin American IPA a few week so ago - delish!
