CityNews – The Association of Thai Deaf Children and Women’s Network Foundation held a conference on August 8th to study the significant factors that will help improve the potential work environment for those with disabilities.

 

An executive decree has stated that employees and businesses in both public and private sectors must support the career opportunities for people with disabilities. Three ways that businesses can do this is hire people with disabilities, support the fund for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and provide opportunity to disabled persons or their caregivers. It is also stated in the executive decree that for every 100 employees, there should be at least one with a disability if the work is appropriate. In doing so, businesses will be tax exempt for this employee.

In that case it will effect the whole of Thailand , as judging by the economy they are all suffering from some sort of disability

I'm going to have to look into this as I'd happily hire people with disabilities, especially deaf people as the constant hum of the machinery we use wouldn't bother them.
