I am wondering if any fellow DIYers have come across much or any metal which is galvanized for sale in Khon Kaen or the surrounding areas. 

 

I have seen a few bits and bobs appearing at Global house, but nothing that i really want to buy have been on sale as yet.

 

Or has any one had items fabricated in local steel and then sent to a Galvanizing Factory, if so then how did it go, Do you have the contact details etc

 

I will be looking for 150mm Sq tube 3mm wall.

 

75mm x 75mm  angle iron.

 

Any thoughts would be more than appriciated

If you bring a photo and perhaps a page from one of the web sites of the steel companies that are on offer at Global House, they might special order the steel to meet your need.  Tata Steel is but one of the companies that sell steel to Global House. How many pieces of steel in your order, may impact how eager any store is to special order steel for you. But worth shopping for the correct steel for your application.

i am just waiting to finalize the design, until then I am in the lap of the Gods. Its just under a 80m of Sq tube and probably 250m of angle. 

Try the usual suspects Global House, DoHome, Thai Watsadu they do not usually have it on display but you have to go to the steel section and place your order.  AFIR DH had it.

 

dont forget to insist that your welder uses safe practice as the fumes are highly poisonous.
