  1. Yes it is ... better than stressing over things that simply don't affect you. You know the ol' saying ... "give me strength to change the things I can ... and F the rest, as not worth the brain cells" DISCLAIMER: that might not be entirely accurate quote
  2. Enlighten yourself, and you won't appears as such an idiot or a troll. Oh look, that happens to be the exact say plug (only plug that I filtered on the Charge Loma app screenshot I posted ... ... go figure
  3. Thankfully this isn't London ... ... someone just buy a can of paint and a roller ... And .... "in related news" ... never miss an opportunity to highlight bad foreigners
  4. More good news ... this is an ignore function for those that don't want to read those that love to share their misery.
  5. Car was finally topped up after 2 days of solar charging, since returning from a short O&A. Saving all of ฿130 There's doom & gloom out there ? We don't have that channel, and I must have missed the memo. My challis is always half full ... oh crap
  6. Cayenne pepper & bay seasoning,, S&P of course...
  7. Actually it does. Nissan Leaf being a fine example of a POS, hopefully corrected over the years. The Toyota, major recall, as couldn't keep the tire on. Leaf, way overpriced in TH, and only an idiot would buy, besides their horrendous track record if doing minimal research. The Toyota, just arrived or will in TH, AND hopefully they tweak out the issues, although it's also overpriced. Charging network, confirmed by EV owners, it's excellent an inexpensive in TH. Weekenders might hit a Q, though I haven't had that experience yet, just returning from driving 2 Sundays, and a Saturday & Friday, south of us. Typical app & options issues, as all cars seem to have when newly released, and most fixed OTA. No major drivetrain issues reported yet, from AN members, and we seem to own a variety of EVs from CH manufacturers. Some driver assist options can be annoying, especially in TH, as dependent on properly painted roadway, but can be disabled, as I did in our ZS. Probably would no matter how good it worked, as thought it was just annoying the way implemented, little nudges on the steering wheel, while it makes adjustments. Can't think of any other annoyance members have reported, though I'm sure you read them all also. One design flaw with BYD, the battery pack encased in plastic, and possible vulnerable to road hazards, causing a hole/breach that water/moisture may enter. After market fix is available for that. All ears, what you got that I didn't mention, appropriate to TH, and EVs on the market here.
  8. I'm speechless ... ... I really can't think of anything to say, that wouldn't be offensive. Thanks for the chuckle though ... HAVE A GOOD ONE
  9. YT vids from TH, of people complaining about charging network or running out of energy ... in TH. I doubt that very much.
  10. I don't have to talk myself out of anything, especially to a troll such as yourself. Anyone with any intelligence can see and read what I post. Can download the apps themselves to verify the info. Between you & me, only one person is being deceptive ... AND IT'S NOT ME BYE BYE
  11. Not from Thailand ... not that I've seen or were posted. And if so, you know they'd be posted on AN.
  12. I didn't lie, you simply can't understand what I posted. I posted screenshot from Charge Loma app that only showed chargers with fast plugs, as that is exactly, the only filter I chose; 1 plug type, the fast plug. I later posted screenshots from 3 separate vendors, again, contradicting your silly statement. You can count past 10, so add them all up, and they'll probably be close to the Charge Loma apps count, since the 3 main vendors. No apology expected ... have a nice day
  13. What would your concern be ... as seems plenty of fast chargers:
  14. I move over and let them pass me, which the driver had plenty of opportunity to do, and unless passing themselves, should yield to the left anyway. Why would you allow someone to tailgate you that long ... as stupid as the person tailgating IMHO
  15. Then you don't know much about the charging network 60 kms from your home is irrelevant, as you'd be charging at your home. Though you may need on the last return leg, so that's actually a good thing. Yea ... not too many (none) west of the main highway, but again, you really shouldn't need one, knocking around KP. This is 100 radius from Kamphaeng Phet ... and you got a bunch of charging stations on the main road. I think you'd be fine. Unless going due South, if you even can on the back roads, or would.
  16. Make that 8 years, as most carry an 8 year warranty. The wife will let you know in about 20 yrs, though she'll probably just move the battery pack over to the solar system, unless the rest of the lasts as long as the pack & motors. Not going 100kms ... but 50 kms very realistic ... DECO And in style ...
  17. Anyone ever got a camera citation for 1-5 kms over the limit; 61-65 in a 60kph zone or 91-95 in a 90kph zone ? I'm hoping they allow 5 kms, for at least calibration or speedometer differences. Or just being nice.
  18. There's a few here, locally, PKK, municipality & Amphur Muang, though population is only 27k & 90k. Most probably at Hua Hin & Pranburi.
  19. Can the forum get any Gayer I remember chit chatting with a stranger surfside, and somehow got around to 'forums in TH'. Told him no longer bother with one in Udon Thani, as don't live there, and peek at a local one (can't mention here). Then mentioned AN ... and he asked me if I as gay ... then why on that forum
  20. Seems X model 2 not really sold here in TH. Model 4 available, in 2 flavors, beside the compact version, already mentioned.
  21. Actually found 2 on wiki (building & structure collapse), neither had anything to do with EV of course. 2021, a construction crane, during additional construction toppled over onto the parking garage. 2023, the 100 yr old parking garage, was deemed overloaded for the amount of cars permitted. Await the next silly bogus EV story .... Seems I need to add yet another troll to my growing list ...
  22. Not my experience, the past 1.5 yrs of O&A traveling and TH has an extensive charging infrastructure. Of course that depends on one's driving style. If driving 4-6 hrs at a stretch, and have to be there ASAP with no breaks, they yes, an EV probably isn't for you.
