The pinned link above "Hotels In Isaan (north East Thailand)" is in my opinion useless. It shows only the absolute top hotels in the area.

Thousands of others - and very much cheaper - possibilities are available throughout Isaan.

Example 1: New hotel (2005) in Kuchinarai with very high standards except for the breakfast available for 450 bath/night in 2006.

Example 2: Old motel like place in the centre of Roi-et with hot water and tv.. 300 bath/night.

NB: I have no interests in the hotels.
