Police in Suphanburi have announced the arrest of a cat burglar preying on hospitals in the central Thai town.

 

Dan Chang cops caught 51 year old Wattana "Wat" Cheendee with the tools of the trade, cash,a watch, amulets, old Thai banknotes and gold necklaces.

 

He had been stealing from doctors and nurses at two area hospitals and was caught in the process of stealing from one nurse at Derm Bang Nang Buat Hospital.

 

Police described him as an experienced career criminal just released from his latest spell in prison.

 

The property stolen amounted to a million baht.
