Motorbike Parking in Lopburi.

Featured Replies

Anyone know of motorbike parking at Lopburi train station? and is it safe? Thanks.

Google Maps has a picture of the motorcycle parking area at the train station.  Doesn't look like it's covered for the vast majority of the spots.  Also the trains don't run 24x7 so there won't always be people around.  There's also those monkeys (real ones and not the human ones) in Lopburi at all the temples, running across the power lines, etc. that will 'monkey' with everything.

The monkeys are all that it took for me to detest that city on my one and only trip there.

Get a stuffed alligator. Place on truck roof or bike seat. Problem solved

Danged monkeys.  They used to have a bunch down around the beach in Chonbury or thereabouts.  Damned nuisance.  My mother-in-law used to catch and eat monkeys up in Laos/Isaan when she was younger.  Apparently she was just a wee bit more clever than they were.

Thanks Dave Boo, nice to hear from you again, I don't think my bike will be safe there, I will have to look for an alternative, maybe

Authayai, pardon the spelling.

Maybe she was just lucky....
