hello, my wife never wonders anything because she is thai but I suspect that her 12 years old daughter misses school sometimes (but pretends to go). Can you tell me what happens when your kids miss school one day sometimes ? Would you be informed ? What kind of school is it ? Thanks

Not that I know of.  If you think she is kipping I would offer to start driving her to school each day LOL

 

Attendance is compulsory, some schools / district inspectors are very serious about this subject and follow up quickly, some aren't.

 

One school my granddaughter attended called a parent within one hour of school start time whenever their was an absence. 

you need to approach the school and ensure they alert you when she has missed class, they should have records of all her absences.

Go to the school and meet either teacher or administrator. See if you can arrange to have him/her sign a note (you provide the note, and have them dated) each day verifying attendance. If you can, drop by the school at different times just to check is my advice

good tip never, date or live with women with kids. i never do now, with the internet its a buyers market. cuts out all the expense and problems next step im pregnant mom. good luck for the future.

How about taking to the kid? Ask her how's school?

Do you have any reason to doubt or suspect her of any wrong doing?

 

Both my boys schools have LINE accounts for each class. If my kids miss school we send a Line message to the teacher. The teachers send a message to parents of those kids that are not in class.

Check with the school as most do the same.

Track her cell phone daily for a few weeks.
