I'm looking for a fax service somewhere along Sukhumvit. I went to three separate Mail Boxes Etc today with no luck. One didn't fax to the states, one had a broken fax machine, and the third was slow, and then crapped out a third of the way through.

 

Any ideas much appreciated !

There are free fax services where you can send an email to be sent as a fax or upload a pdf etc to be faxed.

There are many online services that offer this, if you don't care about a watermark/logo on the fax it's even free, or you pay a bit to send it without a watermark, just google something like "send fax online usa"

Here is the one I have successfully used for those luddites that still require faxes:

Living in Pattaya I'd send faxes to my banks (Belgium and Singapore) either from CAT or Mailboxes etc at BigC.

Last month I tried CAT at Time Square on Sukhumvit BKK - NO (not wanting to do)

I tried a big Travel Agency - NO (not wanting to do)

I tried the Marriott and the Terminal 21 hotels - NO (business center only for guests).

I tried Mailboxes and DoubleA on Silom - NO (machine not working for international faxes, they said !)

I tried the cyber office close by the Nana Post Office - NO (machine not working for international faxes)

 

Despairing I searched on the Internet and used this https://www.gotfreefax.com/ like you.

Perfect !! Easy to use. I'll use it again next time I need to send a FAX.

They bill you immediately but you get credit if the FAX doesn't go through.

Or you can request refund. 

 

My bank in Singapore has recently stopped using FAX and replaced it by their in-house system  that takes some doing to learn and use and cannot be used other than to send general non sensitive stuff.

International FAX is for pay. Not free.

Go again to the web site and click the International Fax at the very bottom.

You'll get the rates per country.
