A jealous former husband who found out that his ex was having dinner with another man went to her house armed with a .38 gun yesterday evening.

He was riding on a Yamaha bike and was followed to the house in Don Sri Suk sub-district by his 15 year old son Anurak Rakpenthai on a Honda.

Khanit Rakpenthai, 65, confronted his ex Wanna Rakpenthai, 40, who was having dinner with Prachathip Fafon, 39 from Kalasin.

The son tried to stop the argument and was shot in the back of the head by his own father.

The ex wife and mother of the boy fled to the toilet where she was shot three times in the face and chest.

The shooter then took a knife to his ex wife's new love interest before fleeing on the Honda.

Police found the bike abandoned two kilometers away with the .38 next to it.

Khanit is not thought to have gone far and Nong Khai chieg Pol Maj Gen Phaisan Leusomboon called on his men to find him quick.

Neighbors who took Prachathip to hospital with head and hand injuries before police arrived said they heard 5 shots.

The shooter is a plantation worker in the area.

Another act of filicide, speechless

variations on the main theme seem common enough, with exception of father shooting son, like to point out that even misguided, mistaken Perceptions of romances can generate jealous violence

Don't like the tile design.

3 different styles just in that one pic.

Running in a serpentine pattern should be taught to all ex wives.

Designed to disorient potential shooters. But was ineffective in this case.

I bet this guy has been charged with many other serious petty crimes and been arrested several times and set free again..... I wouldn't be surprised at all.

rather you than me theirs enough women here without getting involved with that crap. life too cheap here.

Probably married when she was 15. Years of abuse and cheating. She finally had the courage to end it. And now she's dead for rejecting a Thai man.

Funny how Thais dislike Indians but seem so similar in many ways.

Arrived on a Yamaha, left on a Honda.

This guy is really mixed up.

Sad for the deceased. A totally senseless murder.

It would appear that the small deek syndrome has spread far and wide in a short time.
