Traders selling pirated goods fled the scene at two Hua Hin markets on Thursday evening ditching one million baht's worth of merchandise.

Staff from the Department of Intellectual Property along with soldiers led by Major Somphot Krajejerm still managed to make three arrests when the dust had settled.

The suspects were taken to Hua Hin police station for processing.

The raid was at the To Rung markets in Hua Hin town and next to the temple of Wat Hua Hin.

Pirated items being sold included bags, shirts, watches, underwear, hats and shoes. There were 2,000 items worth a million baht on sale.

Fleeing?  To write a title like that and not include a video for our amusement is shoddy journalism.

ok; on the positive side, we see law enforcement appearing to attempt to do their jobs;

on the negative side, we see a huge undertaking

Oh the irony.....

One of the markets raided is almost behind the police station, and has been selling fakes for more than 15 years.....and they just discovered it yesterday?

OR

More likely: Someone forgot to pay the 'fee'....:coffee1:
