ultra low class scum get their 15 minutes of fame.

I'm off to the Intercontinental Hotel here in Hua Hin for a glass of wine at their beach side restaurant.

On the way pretend you don't see the unconscious grannies, with kicked in heads, lying on the road and the rubbish trucks full of fetuses.

I believe by his action he has lost his right to operate a stall on Walking St!

Oh... perhaps he never had it in the first place.

On another note, I had a safe night out on Walking St last night and returned home uninjured and intact. Other than being fleeced in the GGBs I had a good time!

Half of the fine come on police

Not get fine for selling CD copies

And to the foreign man take care your own beer you tourist not  king but it seems you can't even take care your lady

May I go a bit off topic here. When I first came to Thailand I bought a CD in a big store in Bangkok. The CD said " The Shadows" and named all the songs, "Apache", "Wonderful Land" etc.

When I played the CD I knew right away it was not the real Shadows (big Hank would have squirmed).

I took the CD back and said this is not the Shadows at all, pointing at the name in the case.

I asked very nicely for a refund, and was given it.

Here is Thanawat's story:

He said that he sells CDs outside Family Mart. The foreigner and his Thai girlfriend emerged from the shop with a beer each. They had not finished their beverage and asked to leave the bottles by his stall and they would come back for them.

He said the bottles were in the way of the stall so he moved them next to a power pole. Next the Thai female came back alone and removed the bottles and disappeared.

Then the foreigner came back and said "Where's my beer?" Thanawat said that the woman had taken them off with her and this was when the foreigner lost his rag.

"He wanted me to buy him more beer," said Thanawat, who added that he was not going to do that as it was hardly his responsibility. This enraged the foreigner more and he pushed the Thai and poked him in the eye.

Then a fight broke out with Thanawat's friend helping him out as the foreigner was bigger than him.

"I'm sorry for what I did," said Thanawat, "but he started it".

Ah, I love the smell of BS in the morning, it smells like victory  another day in paradise

So no fine for selling copyrighted material. Why is it so difficult for Thai police to do the job they are paid for?

Are you sure it is copyrighted material he sells? It might be recorded cover bands playing free music.

I call his explanation bullshit.

He needs stop sell illegal cds and find job at burger King.

Just ask yourself. What is most probable:

  • He took his friend and said let´s bash up that foreigner.
  • The foreigner was drunk, started and agressive conversation, that led to him pooking his eye.

Please take your pick, but can you please try to think before you comment this time.

"Territorial Thais,defending their illegal enterprise...entreprenours"..

Where does it say their stall is illegal?

Where does it say they're selling counterfeit CD's

Where does it say they're defending their illegal enterprise?

What it does say in a subsequent news release on this incident is that the farang punched one of them in the eye because he thought they'd taken his beer, the bottle he'd just bought from the 7/11 and left with them for safekeeping, the one that his then bar fine girlfriend retrieved without his knowledge. So go suck on that!

What kind of an idiot leaves his beer on the walk way expecting someone else to watch them for him. Good on you Thai guys maybe you kicked some sense into this guys head

Sentence one.... 100% correct.... ergo one might assume that there is some BS in the air

sentence two... if inferences from sentence one holds true... what the ****?

Anyway, there obviously a reason behind the attack.... but the one given smells awfully bad, and I suspect that it’s a wildly exaggerated elaboration of the truth.

meanwhile.... a decent fine... progress perhaps?

The guy with the long hair looks very trustworthy and his actions on the video confirm his character.

The foreigner had sniper like aim for an eye poke.  Perhaps a belly rub would have been easier.
