April 23, 20187 yr i suggest buy an external monitor, the small ones on laptops sux ass, and while you are at it, buy an external keyboard too. HDD space is not a big deal these days, you can always buy an external USB HDD, brand is also largely irrelevant. what is important is many USB ports and a good video card, that can not be retrofitted
April 23, 20187 yr Well the laptop I am looking for is for travelling, will not use it when home. Have a good desktop PC in the house with a 28" 4k monitor.

May 29, 20187 yr Well I ordered a Asus from Amazon, this one: ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop, 13.3” Full HD, 8th gen Intel i5-8250U Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD, Backlit keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10, Grey, UX330UA-AH55. I don't want a Thai keyboard and similar Asus models I saw in local shops was with older gen processors and at higher prices, I paid 700$. Okay I paid 146$ in import duty on top but expect to get app 100$ back later on as I did when I bought a Lenovo tablet from them last year. Above laptop is a good buy for me, light & small but still fairly powerful for photo editing on the go. The similar spec Dell I was looking at didn't have full sized SD card reader but a mini one (not good for me), lid was not aluminum but a flimsy plastic one, shorter battery life. Getting it next week, so looking forward to that.
