No sooner had a video of a man molesting a woman hit Thai social media, the Ban Phe, Rayong, police made an arrest.

Taken into custody was 19 year old Jirayu Choeywijarn. He has been charged with molestation and will appear in court.

He was the man who was bare chested and was filmed on the back of a motorcycle groping and kissing a woman.

Pol Lt Col Akkraphon Phondecha of the Ban Phe police said that investigations continue and other men in the group may be charged.

Jirayu admitted to the cops that it was him on the bike but said that he alone was responsible for grabbing the woman.

Before Songkran the Thai authorities said they would come down hard on any man molesting women in the name of Songkran fun.

Daily News described the police response in this case as "fast as a rocket".

Not as hard as the rocket in the young mans pants though I suspect.

Maybe he misunderstood when she said "Hang on tight!"
