Yes, and if you read rather than skimmed, you would see that future plans didn't coincide and we parted as friends. Don't stick your ignorance into my life, thinking I'm the bad guy here. I treated every one of them well, we got along well, and many of them regretted leaving me, getting into abusive relationships with bad boys they ended up running from. When people do like you act this way, a lot of the time they're hiding their own bad treatment of women and feel a need to put that anger elsewhere, a lot of the times on people they don't know they are jealous of, because they can't fathom how anyone can be better than they are, which is yet another narcissist trait. UK Shock as Met Slashes Front Desks Amid Budget Woes
File photo The Metropolitan Police is set to shutter half of its front desks across London in a bid to cut costs, reducing the number of accessible counters from 37 to 19. This move breaks the promise of having a 24/7 staffed counter in each of the capital’s 32 boroughs, causing concern among Londoners who rely on face-to-face interaction at their local stations. A Met spokesperson confirmed that while consultations are ongoing, no changes will commence until later this year. They cited a budget shortfall and a reduced force as reasons for the closures, remarking that it’s “no longer sustainable” to keep all counters open. The Met's jurisdiction covers London, excluding the Square Mile, which falls under the City of London Police’s remit. Met Police chief Sir Mark Rowley recently warned Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer about potential tough choices in crime investigation due to budget constraints. The funding concern was highlighted when Home Secretary Yvette Cooper’s departmental spending negotiations with the Treasury went down to the wire. Labour has also committed to halving violence against women and reducing knife crime in their manifesto. The Met faces a crisis of trust after the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving officer and revelations of entrenched misogyny and racism. Their "A New Met for London" strategy aims to restore confidence, promising community-focused policing and at least one constant front desk per borough for crime reporting. However, leaked plans reveal only eight of these counters will remain open 24/7. The others will operate at reduced hours, with 11 outlets closing at 10pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. The Met defended their decision by stating the majority of crime reports—95%—are made via phone, online, or directly to officers, minimising reliance on front counters. Statistics show nearly a million crimes reported to the Met in 2024, not including fraud, with under 50,000 filed at current counters. Beating children
I don't like the word beat as it's pretty harsh. Hit, spank on the butt, okay. Yes, playing with matches isn't a safe thing, but teaching not to touch by beating? Tone of voice works with most children, started young when they're doing something unsafe or wrong. I rarely hit any of my children, in fact a couple of times for two, and none for four, and they all respected their teachers and other authority, animals, and elders. Two got into trouble because of the peers they hung out with, and regretted it , telling me they should have listened to me. None of them hit their children, and my one grandchild, who was taken over by her dad and my daughter, from his first marriage to a drug addict, just recently graduated high school with honors and has a full paid scholarship into college and will be going for her pilot's license. The others are very good in school, still young. -

The theft, which occurred on Highway 1202, has caused disruption to safety measures and prompted an active police investigation. Pol. Sub-Lt. Sonthaya Pattawee, Deputy Inspector (Investigation) at Mueang Phayao Police Station, received the report from Mr. Sengchai Na Lampang, 68, a representative of Chiang Mai SP Construction Ltd. Partnership. The stolen items, four solar cell batteries, were part of a traffic diversion warning system installed along kilometre markers 1+500 to 2 on the Phayao–San Ton Tan route, in the Huai Nam Khao area of Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict. Following the report, police investigators visited the scene and examined CCTV footage. The video shows a man arriving on a motorcycle, parking at the roadside and then removing the batteries from the solar-powered warning lights installed for a road and drainage construction project. The incident took place near the junction to Ban Ua-Arthorn 2 housing project and the entrance of Thananchon Hotel in Tha Wang Thong. Authorities have since identified a suspect and are currently compiling evidence to request an arrest warrant from the court. Legal proceedings will follow once the suspect is apprehended. Police urged the public to report any information that could assist in the investigation and reminded citizens of the vital role traffic safety equipment plays in protecting both workers and road users during infrastructure works.
