VIDEO: Scores of foreigners detained as Pattaya police bust sex orgy

They should have advertised on ThaiVisa (except that they probably would have had far too many TV members show up - 1,500 baht for an orgy :w00t: :w00t: ) !!

After watching the SiamChon video it is clear that it was a "male+female" affair, not a "male+male" event. It almost looks like it is some kind of brothel hotel, with small lockers for the girls to leave their clothes/belongings in (like they do in most go-go bars and other establishments I've never been in :whistling: ).

I like how the video guy does a close up, extended shot of the owner's ID card. I had to laugh a bit too at all the farangs that were clinging to "their" girls like they were scared they'd run away at the first opportunity.

lol - at around the 55 second mark of the video, they are entering a couple rooms that have beds, small lockers and a bunch of guys/girls and for 20 seconds all you can hear is the (very) heavy breathing of the guy who was shooting the video.

Not sure if he needs to work on his cardio or if he was just a little "over excited".

1500 baht fee was the problem in an unlicensed hotel. But surely it is a Thailand reputation thing being the sultriness of the party going against the grain of the charade of the Junta trying to clean up Pattaya the Sodom of Gomorra city by the sea. Alias the Patpong by the sea

Orgies and hookers in Pattaya, whoda thought it. Guess they didnt ask the TAT beforehand if it was ok to bust some touirsts who basically go to Pattaya and come to Thailand for this very reason. Oh yeah, prostitution in Thailand is illegal, go figure.

I wonder if it was like Disneyland where all the rides are included in the entry fee?  (Still, there's always a long wait for the good rides)

Or is it like some other theme parks where the entry fee just gets you in the gate, and all the rides are extra, priced according to how appealing the rides are?  In either case, it's nice that you can take the rides home with you if you like them...

I suspect you can get away with hosting a few dozen friends for an orgy at your home, but charging 1500 baht, holding the event in an illegal hotel and advertising it online probably puts it over some legal line.

Consensual or compensated?  That is the question.

What was the crime? I think the police where upset they did not receive a proper invite so they decided to roust every one.

"Mr Yang was charged with a number of offences related to hosting the sex parties and also operating a hotel without a valid license."

Do NOTHING in large groups. It begs for unwanted attention. These people should know better.

But how can you resist an all you can eat sex buffet for 1500 baht?

Pathetic raid. Zero reason for it if it all concensual.

What does the government think Thailand is famous for? Catholicism? :w00t:

Of course, I hope you will all note that there were no English present!

Where'd the clip go? Watched it, then shared it with a Thai friend...and now it's not showing. Hmm...

Looks like SiamChon News deleted it for some reason. Maybe the hotel owner wasn't too impressed with his face (and ID card info) being splashed on the internet so wantonly.

The brave and noble RTP won't do anything unless they smell personal gain or advancement. I think this was a ripe opportunity for the fuzz to make extra bling from the usual suspects.

A group of like minded people have got together for an exotic evening. I am interested to know what laws they were actually breaking.

I guess the good news is all the potential instructors couldn't attend having been previously arrested.

drugs were found. That's illegal. Orgies are considered immoral in Thailand, so not allowed either. Whether you like it or not, agree with it or not - irrelevant. This is Thailand, that's how it works here

Yep its gone, had a look too. Could be one of those "defamation" things ...or the TAT has blocked it to keep the buffalo tourist numbers up.

Plus, does anyone honestly believe the women in attendance forked over any money to be there?   Which makes it sex-for-money.  I think that's the definition of prostitution.
