Started watching The Handmaids Tale , it is quite slow ,but riveting , it just shows how the life you knew can change so fast , and to be honest its a warning for what is happening now to the west .

Yes interesting and scary storyline. Funny how ridiculous religious belief looks when seen from the outside and taken to the extreme

Good picture, was it HD 720, 1080, theatre screen, or Cam?

The reason I ask is, I went to the local cinema to watch it and the movie was ruined by people standing up, rustling sweet wrapper, slurping coke and mobile phones beeping.  I love to see it again in the privacy of my own home.

I find the audiences pretty well behaved in Thailand. The punters in the cinemas in Manila, Singapore and Hong Kong used to drive me nuckin futs!

I'm at season 2 about 15th episode if this KINGDOM MMA drama.

Frank grillo I do not rate this could have been better I think with a better actor in his role. They got a Dr melphi type scenario in this and he is just out of his depth, wooden.

It has kept me entertained though.

For the life of me I can't get a copy of Trainspotting 2. Torrent, kodi, DVD anything. The local bloke that flogs the dvds says it was not allowed to be shown in Thailand.

The torrent is not out yet, i check daily, those guys sell porn dvds openly will have it once it's out.

Logan is out, just dvd copy, still waiting on bluray

Plenty of cam versions available. You will have to wait until June 27th when the DVD is released to get a clear copy.

I'm waiting for the DVD release too.

I'm surprised that it has such a low rating.

I can't stand the Thai cinematic experience.

Sorry... I had to remove a post because it violates the Forum Rules.

3) You will not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing of pirated material, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of the above is permitted only as news items, but never as a "how to" topic.

Talk about file sharing is one thing, but direct links (or a screen capture showing the URL) to torrent sites is very much a "how to" therefore cannot remain on the Forum.

One further comment on WEB-DL release formats:

"This is a movie or TV show downloaded via an online distribution website, such as iTunes. The quality is quite good since they are not re-encoded. The video (H.264) and audio (AC3/AAC) streams are usually extracted from the iTunes or AmazonVideo file and then remuxed into a MKV container without sacrificing quality.

An advantage with these releases is that they mostly have no network logos on screen, just like BD/DVDRips. HDRip is an encoded version of any HD source, like BRRip, BDRip or HDTV, into a smaller file size. Although the original source might be in a higher resolution, scene groups often transcode the rips to 720p."

It's slim pickings for TV series since a few favourites like Bosch, Billions, Homeland, Born to Kill and Little Boy Blue have ended. All I'm left with is Fargo, The Handmaids Tale and The OA. Anything worthwhile that I've missed, barring superheros and shows like Criminal Minds which destroy brain cells. Desperate for something to watch.
