Hua Hin, Thailand, 16 May 2018 - Hua Hin’s leading international hotels will join forces again this year for the second annual “Dine Along the Beach” experience - a creative culinary journey along Thailand’s golden Gulf coast.

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin and THE BARAI, InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas and Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa will team up to create an amazing five-course alfresco feast on the soft sands of Hua Hin Beach.

Diners will make their way along the beach, from resort to resort, with each acclaimed hotel creating one course of a sumptuous five-course meal. The result will be a unique, four-hour gastronomic journey down the coast, allowing guests to sample the cuisine of all five leading luxury resorts, paired with fine wines.

“We are delighted to bring Dine Along the Beach back for its second consecutive year,” commented Goetz Bauer, General Manager of Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa. “This is a unique occasion that showcases the outstanding culinary talent we have in Hua Hin, while also allowing guests to soak up the blissful beachfront ambience.

“This is a great example of how Hua Hin’s world-class hotels and resorts can work together to create incredible guest experiences. As our destination grows in popularity among international travelers, it is important that we showcase the best of Hua Hin and ensure that guests want to return time after time. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with our partners to create more memorable dining experiences on Hua Hin Beach,” Mr Bauer added.

This year’s inaugural Dine Along the Beach will be hosted on Thursday 31st May 2018, following which the event will take place on the last Thursday of every month until November 2018.

The culinary journey will start at 5pm at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin & BARAI, with an exquisite starter of local burrata cheese and smoked Thai eggplant with pickled cherry tomato. This will be followed by a short stroll along the beach to the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort for a second starter of the East meets West, a seared octopus with aromatic risotto rice served with salmon roe and pea flower.

Then at 7pm, guests will make their way along the sand to Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa for the first main course; a sumptuous fillet of sea bass with garlic, parmesan and pesto.

Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas will be presenting the second main course of chicken ballotine with Madeira sauce, before guests finally head to Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa for a dessert of coconut panna-cotta, purple sweet potato ice cream and passion fruit sauce.

The beachfront feast will finish at 9pm, giving guests ample time to stroll along the soft white sand, enjoying the magical evening ambience. Transport is also offered between the resorts for guests with limited mobility.

The price for the five-course meal is THB 2,499 nett per person, accompanied by Monsoon Valley wine, Evian and Badoit mineral water. Only 50 places are available per event so advanced reservations are essential. To reserve your place at this unique culinary occasion, please email [email protected] or telephone +66 (0) 32 521 234.

Just hope they have cleaned up the beach for the occasion ?

Next time should include a shark steak in the menu ...the margin and profit will be higher as there are enough sharks for free to catch by the HH beach !! :cheesy:
