A tanker trailer carrying molasses from Kamphaeng Phet to Kanchanaburi overturned on a road in Chainat’s Muang district on Monday morning, paving the road with the sticky brown liquid.

Police said the accident happened on Suphan-Chainat road near an intersection.

The trailer driver, Manote Nuwornrano, 29, told police that a motorcyclist cut in the front of his truck, prompting him to swerve to one side and lose control.

The section of the road was close pending a massive cleaning.

idiot, that is not professional driving; in the area of the world i grew up in, we are taught in basic driver education where to hit animals such as deer that dart out over the road;

motorcy that aren't looking should be treated the same, else this tanker takes out a group of innocent bystanders

What a stupid idea .In most educated countries countries a driver is taught to "Observe" the road and drive safely so as to avoid accidents.Where did you "attempt to learn" to drive ,in Russia or China ?

Not so. Take Public Service Vehicle lessons in the UK you are told that you are responsible for 45+ plus passengers under your care and that any sudden evasive maneuvers must be avoided lest you endanger them.

As for molasses? We used to race Karts on a hockey rink covered with CocaCola syrup which must be very similar in consistency.

Yes but i bought molasses for cattle feed, not human consumption.

In most educated countries motorcyclists don't pull out in front of approaching vehicles as if they weren't there.

Sticky situation. Stickier in fact, than when Sticky, the stick insect got stuck to a sticky bun.

AHHHH !...There goes my Anzac Bikkies this month...?
