Thai Rath reported on a midnight incident at a house in the Wang Samran Resort in Prachinburi.

As house owner Nithit Khotprapa, 40, and his wife were sleeping they heard the noise of what they thought was a cat in the roof.

Moments later they heard a great crashing noise then an incoherent wailing coming from a kitchen to the rear of the property.

A man called Chatchai Sapsinphan, 36, had fallen through the ceiling and was lying among the shattered masonry on the kitchen floor.

They couldn't make out what he was burbling on about.

Sri Maha Pho cops and rescue medics were summoned and after giving first aid Chatchai, from Sri Racha, was taken to hospital.

Doctors discovered amphetamines in his system and the man admitted taking two Ya Ba tablets.

Investigations continue.

Actually, he was practicing for Christmas Eve and his Santa Claus act.

Some of the "stupid criminal" videos on  www.youtube.com are absolutely priceless.

They easily bring complete validation to Will Rogers  quote of "Never underestimate the ignorance of the average man".

"Yaba" dabba do......That's what drugs will do to you!
