Police and inland security officials are putting two and two together and trying to make four after a raid on a house in Nakorn Nayok yesterday.

Officials had received reports that a house in Muang district had been bought but a meeting to hand over the money was not held.

There were also reports from locals that a gang of 3 or four men "of influence" were in the area up to some shady dealings.

At the house they met Prasitthiporn Korathatsana, 46, who comes from Chonburi.

He had a Lamborghini in the driveway with Roi-Et plates number กต (gor thor) 7777. The plates were fake.

Inside the car was an 11 mm gun that was licensed.

Prasitthiporn tested positive with a purple urine sample and admitted taking ice (crystal meth).

No charges were mentioned in the Thai Rath story though they suggested the case may have connections to the drug trade.

I saw this car on the back of a towtruck a few days ago heading towards Bangkok from khonkaen, I am sure there are not to many Lamborghini's in orange.

And I am sure it had Lao plates, quick change to fake Roi-et plates when arrived Bangkok.

I'm always amazed at just how many lime green and hot orange Lambo's there are in Asia, and not just Thailand.  There's an orange one in my apartment complex in China, too.  Seems there's no use driving one unless everyone can see it from a mile away.

Not to say that you're wrong, but I wouldn't bet my paycheck that it wasn't a different orange one on the tow truck.

On an aside, I've never figured out the logic of all those shops in BKK, especially around Chinatown that openly make "replica" license plates.  Maybe there are some legitimate applications for home-made plates, but something just doesn't seem right about it.

Sounds like a normal day in Thailand to me. There was an Audi R8 buzzing around Mahidol Road in CM a couple of hours ago.

There are 7 orange Lambo's for sale at the moment on one2car, not so uncommon.

That may be one car for sale 7 times over.   Stranger things have happened in LOS.

Well, they can't all be but some of them actually look like they might be, not that it is easy to do on one2car, you have to send them the ID and book and the names have to match, you would need fake documents to list the same car twice.  Not to say it doesn't ever happen on there but I have found it to be free from scammers, unlike some other Thai car sites which are full of the usual 'cheap car but needs an upfront fee' scam.
